(Celebrated in cultivation in the UK and other parts of the world. Not as common outside of Los Angeles in the United States. Gorgeous young green bark and mature trees display fissured wood. Flowers are jaw-dropping, foliage is feather-soft.)

(Reliable evergreen tree, can be pruned or grown to any size. Eager to resprout from lignotuber if damaged or chopped down. Cold hardy, drought hardy, in hot climates it enjoys partial shade or being near an underground water source.)

(One of my personal favorites, sharp phyllodes and delicious looking flowers. Very hardy to summer heat and winter cold.)
