The Eonon GMX7A is a vehicle-specific Android 14 car stereo designed for a wide range of compatible Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Hummer vehicles.
It upgrades the factory radio with an 8" IPS HD touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in GPS, WiFi 6 and 48-band DSP audio control, while supporting important original functions such as Bose audio, OnStar, steering wheel controls and the OEM backup camera on compatible vehicles.

Keep Important Factory Features
The GMX7A uses vehicle-specific wiring and CANBUS integration to retain supported original vehicle functions rather than replacing them with a completely independent universal radio setup.
Depending on the original vehicle configuration, supported functions include:

- Reversing guidelines
- Door reminder information
*Steering wheel voice recognition button is not supported.
Factory feature availability may vary by model, year, trim and original equipment.
OEM Backup Camera Retention
On supported vehicles, the original backup camera can continue to work after installation.
This helps preserve the reversing setup already built into the vehicle while giving you the upgraded Android touchscreen interface.
Compatibility depends on the original camera and vehicle configuration.
⚠️ Factory Rear-Seat Entertainment
If your vehicle has a factory rear-seat entertainment system and you want to retain it after installing the GMX7A, an additional:
Eonon A506 USB-to-RCA Video Output Adapter
is required.
The A506 is sold separately.

The GMX7A runs Android 14 on an RK3562 quad-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

8" IPS HD Touchscreen
The 8" 1280 × 720 IPS touchscreen gives you a clearer, more modern interface for navigation, music and vehicle information.
Its wide viewing angles make on-screen information easier to see from different seating positions.
WiFi 6 + Bluetooth 5.4
Built-in WiFi 6 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, allowing the stereo to connect to a smartphone hotspot or other available Wi-Fi connection.
Bluetooth 5.4 supports compatible phone and wireless audio connections.
4G LTE is not built in.
Mobile-network access requires a compatible external 4G dongle.
Built-In GPS Navigation
The integrated GPS receiver and external GPS antenna allow compatible navigation apps to run directly from the GMX7A.

Split Screen & Wireless Screen Mirroring

Note: Some streaming and copyrighted video services may block screen mirroring because of DRM restrictions.
AM/FM Radio with RDS
The built-in Silicon Labs SI4755 tuner supports AM/FM radio and RDS station information, letting you listen to local radio without relying on an internet connection.
DAB+ digital radio can be added in supported regions with a compatible optional Eonon DAB+ module.
Media & Connections
The GMSX7A supports common audio, video and image formats, including MP3, FLAC, AAC, MP4, MKV, JPEG and PNG, with support for up to 1080P video decoding.
