High-Performance LSM6DSV Motion Sensor
The Avatru tracker uses the LSM6DSV, a strong SlimeVR community-favored motion sensor configuration and a serious BNO085-class alternative for full-body tracking.
Compared with common BMI270-based tracker builds, the LSM6DSV configuration delivers much lower drift, smoother pose tracking, and clearly better long-session stability. For VRChat, dancing, and long gameplay sessions, this means less correction, less frustration, and more consistent avatar movement.
Upgraded ESP32-C3 Mini Wireless Platform
The Avatru tracker is powered by the ESP32-C3 Mini, a more modern and reliable platform than the older ESP8266 commonly used in many DIY-style trackers.
ESP32-C3 Mini provides more stable operation, better wireless connection performance, and improved reliability during long VR sessions. It is a stronger choice for users who need stable 2.4GHz WiFi tracking instead of frequent connection problems.
No Base Stations Required
This is an IMU-based wireless tracking system. It does not require Lighthouse base stations, external cameras, or complicated room hardware.
Long Battery Life
Each tracker has a built-in 800mAh rechargeable battery, providing up to 9 hours of use on a full charge. Suitable for long VRChat sessions, streaming, dancing, and extended gameplay.
Quick-Release Buckle Mounting
The tracker uses a quick-release buckle mounting system. It is easy to attach, remove, and reposition, while keeping the tracker firmly mounted during active movement.
Complete Strap Set Included
The kit includes multiple strap sizes for chest, waist, thighs, and calves/ankles, so you can build a clean and secure full-body setup right out of the box.

Software Setup
- Install SlimeVR Server on your PC.
- Install Java 17+ if required.
- Install SteamVR from Steam.
- Connect each tracker with the included USB data cable for the first WiFi setup.
- Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi SSID and password in SlimeVR Server.
- Power on the trackers, start SteamVR, then launch SlimeVR Server.
- Complete the standing and body calibration inside SlimeVR Server.
WiFi Setup Notes
- Only 2.4GHz WiFi is supported.
- 5GHz WiFi is not supported.
- A PC 2.4GHz hotspot is recommended if your router does not provide a stable 2.4GHz network.
- Use English letters and numbers for the WiFi name when possible.
- Avoid Chinese characters or special symbols in the WiFi SSID.
Wearing Tips
- Keep each tracker firmly attached to prevent sliding or shaking.
- Place calf/ankle trackers close to the ankles for better lower-leg tracking.
- Keep the front/logo side facing the correct direction during setup.
- Keep the charging port facing downward when possible.

This product is designed for PC VR full-body tracking through SlimeVR Server and SteamVR/OpenVR.
- Compatible with SteamVR/OpenVR environments on PC.
- Suitable for VRChat and other PC VR applications that support full-body tracking.
